Who Are We?
Jenny Cooper owns and runs A Dog's Utopia, LLC, a professional dog care service, with her spouse, Ashley, supporting her and the dogs. We strive to provide outstanding dog care rooted in our Christian faith. We call our approach a spirituality of care. Both of us are passionate, loving, and playful dog enthusiasts who are dedicated to at-home care. Additionally, we have a combined 17 years of Air Force service, which means we pay close attention to detail. Most importantly, we’ve boarded dogs as members of our family for over 12 years, and we collectively have more than 30 years of pet care experience.

Let's Talk Dogs!
What do we do? Weather permitting, we can walk your dog(s). Dog walks are not all we do! If your dog seems interested in playing dog puzzles or scentwork games—we do that, too! We make our home and property a fun place for your dog(s), tailored to your dog's preferences, needs, and abilities. There are no additional charges for any of the fun we have with your dog(s).

Dogs With Special Needs
We have cared for many dogs with special needs, such as being blind, deaf, paralyzed, or insulin-dependent, and we administer daily medications and supplements. There are NO extra charges for caring for a pet with special needs. However, if a dog is chronically ill, we may be unable to care for them due to their fragility. Additionally, some dogs may not be able to make sound decisions while on certain medications, which we carefully consider. If you have a dog with special needs or one that has developed them, please contact us.

Agreements:
Currently, we don't accept any Pit Bulls or mixed breeds, nor some Bully breeds (such as Bull Mastiffs, Bulldogs).

A Dog's Utopia's Pick-up/Drop-off Policy:

For the courtesy of our home business, please drop off and pick up before 6:00 p.m.

About our Yard

We have a large fenced backyard of about half an acre. This is where the dogs go to the bathroom and play. We have extensive experience with dog-on-dog interactions, including more than 1,000 boarding reservations over 12 years. We are trained to introduce new pack members and understand dog behavior, social hierarchy, and proper introduction and play skills. Please do not bring a dog to our home that has shown aggressive behavior toward humans or other dogs.
